Works well in hitch locks

Bought so I can secure my trailer after unhitching it from the truck on holiday. Looks solid and works perfectly. I added a 3/4" spigot around the mounting bar at the top of the hitch to make the fit a bit tighter.

Happy with purchase

Love this lock. It fits my bulldog perfectly. I followed the instructions and adjusted the tilt forward. It looks like it will deter an opportunistic thief. I bought this for some sanity. Locks only make honest people honest. I am happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Everything is OK . - Trailer hitch accessory

Fits my 2" receiver so loosely it would fall out without a pin. It works when the pen is inserted, but the recipient doesn't hold it at will. Also loose fitting but I think that's a plus because I know you're between the pin above the hitch on my chains so it tightens a lot. I thought maybe it was just a defect in what I ordered so I sent it back and got another one and it was even worse. Also, they overdrilled the hole so if you wanted you could just press down on the pin and cut off the end…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Expect a restocking fee if these products don't fit!

I ordered 2 TL-20 and 1 TL-33 for 3 trailers I have. On a trailer with a 2" Fulton hitch, no TL-20 would fit on the hitch without dragging it. I chose not to do this as it would speed up corrosion and using the trailer in salt water would be a bad idea. I came back and Southwest Wheel got access to a 15 o/o shipping and restocking fee even though it doesn't fit a 2 inch outlet and I left a TL-20 and a TL-33. Don't expect these locks to fit your hitch snugly, not mine. 2" bulldog and regular 2…

Strong Heavy : Hitch Locks

What I love about this product is that it is very strong and a lot better and stronger than the metal curved handle pots that you sell at discount stores. -above I find it about as good as you can get for a clutch lock on my Bulldog clutch, the only thing I didn't like was that I thought it would be a tighter fit, it was a bit loose between the pin and coupler. So I added a 3/4 inch galvanized pipe to insert the pin and cut it to the perfect length to fit between the two sides, leaving some…

Opt for this lock for the Bulldog hitch.

I chose this Bulldog hitch lock over various other types available simply because I can use my lock. I know there is an extra cost to adding a lock, but most other locks seem to have 'special' keys that are likely expensive if not impossible to add additional keys to. A thief can remove anything, but at least he has to work hard to remove that lock or have some kind of power tool and at that moment nothing is protected. I don't have to guess which neighbor decided to borrow my caravan because…

NOT IMPRESSIVE, NOT WORKING. RETURNED

I bought this mousetrap because I thought it was the best mousetrap. It's not like this. I have a 2 inch Bulldog trailer. It was a smaller version that was said would fit. It will go on, however there is a gap of about 1.5 inches on the sides that allows it to pivot to the side. Also, the top was loose and could slide back and forth and side to side. MUCH sloppy. I could almost take it off with my hand. I looked at it and with that extra space a crowbar or pry bar could easily slip through and…

Too narrow for my hitch

I looked at various hitch locks and for the price this lock gets top marks. Many other options received negative reviews due to poor design, or were easily bypassed in one way or another (either by shoving the lock over the edge of the hitch, or by brute force by bringing a sledgehammer to the lock). ), but the TL-20 appears to have the best overall safety record. However, the lock is a bit too narrow to slip through my hitch, which has a standard bullnose design and is just under 3.5 inches…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
