Used to repair a cracked exhaust manifold. Lasts after a month. The product is a liquid and a sand powder that must be mixed. It spreads and smooths out like peanut butter. Make sure you prep the area properly, which I did, but as a test, I smoothed it over the area that wasn't there and it kind of came off. 2 cracks (1/16" x 2") on a 1994 SAAB T8 multiple exhaust. As mentioned by other users, the texture in the container can vary: a small amount of liquid and a fairly hard paste. an excellent article, on my new V10 engine with passenger seal there are none on either Exhaust gasket ends, instead, as with any engine, I got out of the exhaust studs, just took my Dremel tool tuned for a wire brush, cleaned everything, and then took my air compressor and removed any residue from cleaning the exhaust manifold.
