This Blum cabinet hinge has been used by many carpenters. After years of non-stop opening and closing, the plastic cover is breaking. You can still open and close doors, but they will no longer stay open or close on their own if they are half-closed. It only takes a Phillips screwdriver to replace this part and a few minutes to complete the repair.

I bought these to replace Compact 31 hinges for my cabinets which are no longer made by Blum; I called the company to confirm that they are compatible and that they are compatible. Note that the hole pattern has changed - the difference between the 31 and 33 is that the metal plate that screws into the front of the case is rotated 180 degrees.
