This is a great kayak mount

This is a great kayak mount, right size and pretty good quality. The tires are airless but soft enough to provide good grip during transport. They are easy to disassemble and reassemble. I recommend and I would buy it again. I can't go wrong with the price.

Very easy to set up

Got this for my sister and she was amazed. Very easy to install and I love the fact that it has a stand! Traveling in your kayak is now insanely easy, no matter how far you have to travel from your car to the water. Also very easy. Highly recommend, especially at this price.

This car really works

Works just great. I used a cart for my canoe and for my three kayaks to get them from my garage to their launch. On slippery ground you can manage without tying the canoe/kayak to the trolley, but if you have to overcome an obstacle you must remember to use the straps. Then there is no problem.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great cart! Not a single lack of competitors!

This is a great product! Unlike its competitors, its tires don't smell, and because they're durable, they can't fall off. Also, unlike its competitors, it doesn't have a flimsy strap. Instead, it has both a strap and an elastic cord, both of which are quite long and of good quality. Finally, it's durable and doesn't try to snap; and the boat sits very securely on it (does not slip), even if not secured with a strap and/or elastic cord. The designers guessed it!

Connection bolts not made of metal

All you have to do is mount the wheels with the quick-release pins. super easy. Here's the problem: the "bolts" holding the aluminum(?) pieces together look and feel like hollow plastic covered in silver paint. I don't think they are metal. See photo. Now I have to decide whether I should just wait until they break and replace them with metal bolts or return the cart and pay double for another cart. The protection of the clip on the strap is not made of leather or even plastic. It's a kind of…

Great kayak cart for the price

Easy to assemble, folds down for easy car transport. Build quality seems good, I used it all weekend at a kayak festival where the parking lot is quite a distance from the beach. For that purpose it was fantastic. For the price you can't go wrong. The only downside compared to more expensive models is that I'm paddling a small sea kayak so I can't remove the wheels and install them in my hatches. More expensive blocks allow you to disassemble them and pack them in your hatches. However, I don't

Great for an 80 lb canoe

My canoe is too long for me to handle alone. I was skeptical about the quality of the seemingly many identical canoe/kayak carts on Revain and their negative reviews (cheap air tires) so I settled on this solid tire cart. The build quality is excellent for the price ($40) and it carries the canoe like a champ. The only problem is getting the hull of the canoe properly positioned on the pads so the strap will hold tight. Many test reports complain that they collapse under load. I don't see how…

It folds/folds on itself when hitting obstacles

After 2 days of use and 3-4 folds on itself, it just fell apart in 2 pieces. The main design flaw with this cart is that the primary design connects to the wheel hub tube with a thin plastic tee. This can be clearly seen in the product photos. The only plus is airless wheels. But who cares if it breaks after 2 days of use? UPDATE: The day after I posted this review, the seller contacted me, said they were aware of the issue, and asked if they could send me another model with a different stance…

It's a shame but I did it.

I was impressed with the overall quality of this car. It fit well and looked well made. But when I decided to use it to tow my ocean kayak from the garage across the grass to the dock, I had a very tough time. I found that out. 1. Using the included bungee cords was a huge mistake. They are too flexible and don't hold the kayak firmly on the cart. The slightest bump or resistance on the lawn would cause the cart to move, sometimes sideways. Eventually the kayak fell and got caught on a bungee…
