Description of Bosch Automotive 6055C High Efficiency Cabin Air Filter for Dodge Durango (2011-2019) & Jeep Grand Cherokee (2011-2019)

High Efficiency Particulate Cabin Air Filters are designed to trap microscopic pollutants including pollen, mold and common allergens. Without adding formulated chemical odor neutralizer, Bosch HEPA cabin filters provide true clean air to enhance respiratory health. Melt-blown electrostatic layer and very dense media provides greater trapping capabilities; Additional static cotton layer added to HEPA Media to provide high capacity in holding small particulates. Structural ribs added to provide increase stability of filter; product comes with multi colors (blue and white). Cabin air filters should be replaced at least once every 12 months (or every 12K miles). Reduced airflow but cleaner air

This Bosch HEPA filter was perfect for my 2012 Toyota Highlander. Once installed, the air in the cabin smelled noticeably cleaner than the stock filter (which was a bit musty). The only expected minus is a decrease in air consumption due to the narrowing of the filter. Watch my video to see OEM filter and HEPA filter side by side. At maximum fan speed there was almost no difference, but at medium and high speeds it definitely blew less. Personally, I think this is an acceptable trade-off for…

Works with measurable results.

. Local BAAQMB PM2.5 AQI data for reference. the reading was 163. The reading in the car at start was 159. Filtration using a used Toyota OEM filter reduced PM2.5 particles to 55-57 and no more after 40 minutes. Anything below 50 is healthy The area AQI was 137. The car interior reading at start was 127. This Bosch filter reduced particulates to an AQI=4 (four) after 10 minutes. In both tests, the air conditioning was switched off and the fan was running at full speed. only room air…

AIR FLOW IS EXTREMELY REDUCED!

Believe all the reviews! You are 100% right. This filter is great at filtering air, but it has two main problems. First, it reduces too much airflow. As well as enough that can cause problems with the air conditioning due to such a large pressure. I have NEVER changed the fan speed from low to maximum to at least have some airflow. It's more than funny! Secondly, the installation instructions are not clear at all in terms of airflow direction. I watched a few YouTube videos to make sure it…

Perfect replacement for the 18 " Outback

Fighting wildfires has recently forced us to reconsider our escape plans "This includes trying to keep the air clean as we drive for hours. While those filters could technically be HEPA, I don't think a car's HVAC system is designed to make those filters super efficient. If you... just sitting in traffic you might not smell the frequency of exhaust odors but that doesn't compare to a jacked up truck with a compensator emitting black smoke so better than nothing better than a stock filter but in

Breathing relief, original HEPA filter

According to two different air knives, this filters out PM2.5 micron pollution particles. The air in my car contained significantly less particulate matter than the air outside. This is a relief on days when there is a lot of wood smoke or forest fire smoke in the air. I tested it on a day when the outside air PM2.5 micron reading was around 40 (disgusting). Inside, PM2.5 fluctuated between 5 and 6. Of course, this filter won't filter air entering the cabin through an open door or window…

The only cabin air filter with HEPA level filtration

I value clean air, especially when I spend so much time stuck in traffic on smoky Southern California freeways. In the last month I've bought some air filters for my car, a friend's car and air purifiers for my home. This filter caught my attention because unlike home air purifiers, which have a HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Capture) standard that captures 99.97% of particles 0.03 microns or larger, cabin air filters don't indicate the degree of filtration. This filter is HEPA compliant and…
