Broken (and Too Flat) Screw Adjustment

So I really wanted to like this little screw adjustment tool. I had a small drywall job and was hoping not to use my large/heavy drywall gun. This notch ideally seats about 50% of the screw heads and the rest sits flush with the drywall. Then you have to go back and drown them manually. I've tried all sorts of methods to get it "right" and in fact once I pushed too hard and the blue indentation slipped back and the screw went too deep. At a slight angle, the adjustment is even worse. I pulled…

Good for occasional/small use

Works well for drywall and the "reverse" feature is VERY handy but if you make the mistake of using the body of the tool as a screw guide you want to remove, you won. Don't let go of the handle before you start the drill motor, the drill bit will return to its original position. Phillips #2 bit. Magnetic to keep screw from loosening. There is no depth setting, depending on what you are doing the depth may not be optimal. Overall I'm happy with it, but if you need to install a lot of screws, get

Get this instead of the cheaper small solid metal

I bought 12 packs of small solid metal drywall dimples (cheap!) but don't like the way they stick out when moving. to the desired depth. This shortens their lifespan significantly and I go through them very quickly but don't realize they're stripped off until I realize I have to push too hard on the driver to get them to the right depth. I don't even have much to do, I'm working on my house, I'm not a professional! Anyway, I've only hung a few hands with this racquet and it's MUCH better. I can

Does what it's supposed to do

This indentation will make the job easier for those who have never worked with drywall and don't want to spend extra money renting/buying a drywall screwdriver. Not sure if it's my technique or not (a few screws went a little sideways), but sometimes it didn't seem to go deep enough into the screw and I had to snap it in and push it in a little further. The included bit was enough to install the ceiling in a room of about 250 square feet. feet before I had to replace it. The dimple itself is…
