Description of 🔧 BOSCH RA1152 Router Bit-Changing Offset Wrenches

Offset wrench design allows easy router bit changes on routers that are installed in router tables. Drop-forged design with rounded edges provides comfort during bit changes. Sized to work with Bosch routers: including 1617, 1617EVS, MRF23EVS routers and 1617EVSPK and MRC23EVSK router kits. The 24 mm wrench can also be used with Bosch 1619EVS, 1613, 1613EVS and 1613AEVS Plunge Routers. Includes 16 mm shaft wrench and 24 mm collet wrench.

Exactly what I expected.

Collet wrenches are hard to judge but this set is exactly what I wanted. The offset is larger than most others I've tried, which is why I needed it. If there is a raised panel cutter I can use these keys to change the cutter without changing the height of the router - the reason I need longer reach. This allows me to use height consistent bits that require changes without increasing the bit height between bit changes.

Works great with Festool router and table.

I only needed one of the 24mm hex wrenches to tighten the collet on my Festool 1400 router when mounted on a Festool router table. The wrench makes changing bits much easier than the included straight wrench. This will also help you not to mess up the beats and the table. I don't know why this isn't included with the router table purchase. It's a little pricey but it would be three times the price if Festool made it lol.

Lower quality than original keys

I was surprised to see that they looked pretty crappy compared to the keys that came with my 1617EVS. The open end is a bit thinner and the overall forging quality is pretty poor. They're a little closer to the free wrenches you get with the tools you throw away than the set you'd pay $20 for. Can't comment on the hardness of the metal but if they start to warp like other reviews have said I'll get 16mm and 24mm open end wrenches somewhere and bend them myself for less money and better quality.

They are best suited for power and hand tools

These offsets are designed to work with a two wrench shaft and collet configuration and pair nicely, if a bit awkwardly, with one Standard router base. If you're using a router on a table (they're designed with a standard base for this purpose) with a store-made base plate that has a hole even slightly narrower than the hole in the box, then they're impractical. It's easier to pull the entire assembly out and set it aside to replace the bit, eliminating the need for wrenches. We use several…
