The hardware that holds the seat and back to the chair is horribly bad. Truly unbelievable. None of the holes match up and of the 16 screws I had to screw in (I bought two chairs) 9 of the internally threaded bushings were damaged and didn't take a screw. Sending them back wasn't an option for me (or believe me I would) due to lack of time, so I ended up drilling new holes, cutting them and buying other screws. The padding is quite firm and seems to support my back. My back is starting to hurt after sitting in it for a while, but I don't know if it's the chairs to be honest. Overall it feels sturdy and is worth what I paid for it. It's only been a few weeks or so, but so far so good.
