It was frustrating buying this device and paying around $700. I installed it from a reputable retailer (listed as authorized by Brandmotion) and it didn't work. The dealer spent over 2 hours fixing it and his response was that it's either defective or you have the wrong instructions. I installed this product on my Jeep Wrangler in November 2018 and the product has worked well. In January 2019, the radar system stopped working properly. I contacted Revain who kindly sent me a replacement system to replace the entire system or broken parts. I got a new system and noticed that one of the LED indicator lights had failed. Exactly what I needed and works as promised. I had a neck and back fusion so it's very difficult to look over my shoulder to check for blind spots and rear crossovers. This is an excellent radar based blind spot detection system and cross traffic warning system with limitations. If your vehicle speed is below 15 miles, this will not work. If there is a static object, it doesn't work. Both restrictions are listed in the product description. Besides, it is OEM quality. I've been using it for 1 month, it works great, no false positives. Brandmotion is constantly improving the RDBS-1500, so the guide launched in December 2019 had some additions that made the installation a bit difficult. One instruction states that the sensors must be mounted 3-10mm from the inside of the bumper. Such a tight tolerance would be almost impossible to achieve as the pump has to be turned off to install the sensor, but Brandmotion technical support assured me that the distance to the bumper is not critical as long as the sensor is installed at a…
