Very strong, excellent quality.

This magnet is very strong and very well constructed. The eyebolt makes it ideal for mag fishing, especially with an extra lock washer and bottle of Loctite. (DO NOT TRY AT HOME, WARNING). about 1/8 inch thick. I could hang from a magnet, I weigh about 150 pounds. I had to use a long rod through an eyebolt to pry and get enough pressure to take it off. It can hold a lot more than 150, I was just curious :D. He also put a wrench in it and couldn't pull it out.

Exactly what he claims.

This magnet weighs enough to reach the end of the string (65 feet) that I can attach with little effort. I only got a couple of bottle caps and half a toenail clipper on the first run, but it worked. It came quickly. I love the styrofoam packaging that comes with it and will probably keep it in that styrofoam for a long time until the box breaks. The foam is just enough to prevent the magnet from sticking too tightly to the metal underneath the box. The metal appears solid and will likely…

Today was my 3rd fall of my first outing with my new Magnet Brute, dropping it off an abandoned bridge that was converted into a fishing pier. I pulled a magnet out of Lake Superior in hopes of finding multi-million dollar treasure. When the magnet emerged from the depths, not only did it not contain any treasure, it also touched the steel girder beneath the bridge deck. I had no idea there was a…
