Good POE switch for my ring cameras!

Based on previous reviews I decided to try this POE switch for my new wired ring cameras with POE connectors. The price is reasonable and the device looks well made. Doesn't heat and hardly warms. I needed to run a 120 foot CAT6 cable from my router in my house to my detached garage 100 feet away. I also ran a 50ft CAT5 cable to the front door. After I completed setup, all of my Ring POE cameras were connected to the network. The switch seems to deliver the right amount of power needed to power

Updated! 9 out of 12 broke within 2 months - BV replaced

Update: I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars due to some issues and the great customer service I received from BV. They replaced my broken switches and so far everything is working. I must have received a bad batch but overall I'm happy with the company. I bought over 10 of these to try and save money on my CCTV system on my farm. When they worked I got a lot of false negatives which I assumed were my cables. Changed cables 3-4 times without success. Replaced the camera and everything works…

Does the job: computers and accessories

I have this switch to operate two wireless access points and a POE camera. Everything is working fine. My APs require a decent amount of power at 15W each, TP-Link AC1750 Wi-Fi AP (Supports 802.3AT PoE+, Dual Band, 802.11AC, Ceiling Mount, 3x3 MIMO Technology) (EAP245) POE is very handy as it gives me allowed need to set the hotspots high so that the signal strength is very good throughout the house and yard. Good switch, but very sensitive to lightning. There were (2) similar outages due to lightning.

Purchased 5 port and 10 port models for my IP camera system. I have a 10 port model in my basement and it's cool. It works well. The 5 port model lives in my detached dry wood garage. Knowing it was going to be hot in the garage I figured this switch might not be up to scratch. But even on the hottest days, this switch worked. EXCEPT when there has been lightning rain in the area.
