Really VERY cheap material. Peaks is a little deceptive. You could use this as a novelty once, but definitely not as an everyday pendant. The material is really cheap. They could do that a little better. Will most likely return.

My younger cat hated her and turned so she was leaning to one side lol. But my elderly cat who was used to the harness didn't bother her at all! :) She wore them with pride and looked amazing. My cat is 10-11 pounds and it fits her perfectly.

It's great. Most costumes that claim to be made for cats are actually made for dogs and don't fit well. The wings are strong and the inner wire allows them to be adjusted to be flat or curved as if in mid-takeoff. I can't stop smiling at my tuxedo cat wearing it. He likes to wear sweaters when it's cooler, and he didn't mind wings. I would not use it as a harness as it would be easy for the animal to break out of the velcro.

The costume is an easy, comfortable outfit for your furry friend. My dog didn't mind wearing it at all. It has a loop for a leash but only attaches to the dog with Velcro, so if your dog doesn't pull at all the "harness" won't hold. Underneath, use a regular harness or a collar and leash.

The wings are very cute. I have a 3 year old chihuahua toy, she weighs 3 pounds. The wings need to be adjusted to fit her tiny body. I took their measurements before placing the order and they are still large. Nothing fits her since she is so small. The leash keeps the wings straight. With velcro, I'm afraid she'll break after something, she thinks she's a pit bull, and will pull the tourniquet away from under her wings.
