Description of ๐Ÿ”Œ Cable Matters 5 Pack Snagless Ethernet Cables for Industrial Electrical Wiring & Connecting

High Performance Cat6, 30 AWG, RJ45 Ethernet Patch Cable provides universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, PoE devices, and more. Cat6 performance at a Cat5e price but with higher bandwidth; Future-proof your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (backwards compatible with any existing Cat5e cable network); The slim Ethernet cable meets or exceeds Category 6 performance in compliance with the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard. A Category 6 Ethernet patch cable is also referred to as a Cat6 network cable, Cat6 cable, Cat6 Ethernet cable, or Cat 6 data/LAN cable. A wired Cat 6 network is more reliable and secure than a wireless network or Cat 5 cable network for your internet connections. The connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain-relief boots provide durability, and ensure a secure connection; Bare copper conductors enhance cable performance and comply with specifications for communications cables. Slim, flexible, and durable Cat6 cable with high bandwidth of up to 550 MHz guarantees high-speed data transfer for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition video streaming.

Useless. That does not work. Do not buy.

6ft works normally. 10 footers almost never work. It connects and negotiates at gigabit speeds, but when you try to transfer a few GB of data, the transfer stalls, stutters, or fails. Of the 10 cables I bought, I have 2 reliable 6 foot cables and a 10 foot cable that works. They work just enough to make you wonder what else is wrong. No wonder. Should have known better. The Cat6 specification requires a center separator between twisted pairs and must be at least 26 AWG. This is the wrong sizeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • I have no real complaints about it, it's fine

Why use normal thick cables?

I'm not sure why anyone is still patching old thick cables. They are Cat6 certified and easy to use. I used a similar one on a Cisco 4510R with almost 400 connections, installing and managing the switch and connections is much easier and better. It doesn't hold package warp and also allows for great desktop cables. Note. I've only seen ultra-thin cables up to 15 feet long, I suspect they'd be difficult to certify past that length. But I had no problem getting 1GB on the Switch and Desktop withโ€ฆ

Inexpensive package - Ethernet cable

So I recently bought a house that was wired throughout with Cat6 connections. Love it! Bought them to connect our devices that can be connected so we get the best possible connection. These cables get the job done and are great value for a set of 5 cables. I recommend them to anyone who wants to connect their devices to their network.

Excellent CAT 6 Cables to Cat 6 Cables

These cables are of excellent quality and very good value for money. They really don't have any snags and are also much smaller in diameter than a standard patch cord. I particularly like the solution they offer to secure the ends of the cord to the outlet as unlike regular ends where the plastic sleeve usually breaks after not too many uses, they will likely last forever no matter how many times you use them plug them in unplug the cord. For me at least, the length is perfect for a proper LANโ€ฆ

Excellent quality product.

Item arrived exactly as ordered within 2 days. Excellent quality product. I use three out of five to wire my modem to my LG Smart TV, PS4 and TX8 Android TV Box. Now all three have a fast internet connection. much better than my faulty wifi worked. Each cable has been neatly twisted and twisted and packaged in 5 individual resealable bags, all inside a large resealable bag, plus a bubble envelope for safe postage.

  • Cat 6 cable

Unreliable connection

I don't normally write reviews but thought I would do it here. I like the idea of thin cables in the server room, very neat and easy to manage. BUT after many random network failures, thinking it was one of my NUC NICs, I hooked up a cable tester to the cable. Par checked, 125678, Skipped 3-4. Depending on the curvature of the cable around the jack, I've had different pairs that have fallen off. If I pushed lightly on the cable around the muzzle of the connector, half of the pair would fallโ€ฆ
