Its worth it! in Computers & Accessories

As a nerd, let me make this easier. The speed is better when your device is connected via Ethernet. My internet package has 175 Mbit/s. Wi-Fi has two options: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. With the Firestick I was at 60Mbps over 2.4GHz and 75-80Mbps over 5GHz. I installed an ethernet adapter and now it's 173Mbps. (Internet Service Provider rarely gives you the maximum speed) That's pretty damn good. Take it!

  • Dope 🔥

No faster speeds on computers and accessories

So I recently upgraded to Fiber and my Xbox One is getting 350-550 fps on a Cat6 connection and I have a Revain Fire Cube in the same room which is about 200 feet at speed /s. Reinstallation via WiFi. I thought maybe a direct connection would make a difference, although that's not bad at all. It had great reviews, but consistently hit 45-49 m/s when using Cat5e. I switched from Xbox to my Cat6 and it was 60m/s. So basically no change, about 10 tests in 12 hours, and connecting my Fire Cube…

It just works! Best in Computers & Accessories

I use a Revain FireTV 4K HDR Stick. I have a Google Wifi puck right next to it, but the FireTV loses connection to the nearest Google Wifi puck and reconnects to the base station halfway across the house. Most microUSB Ethernet adapters are only advertised as having fast 10/100 Ethernet connections. Nice to find one that uses a 1Gb connection for the same price. Although it's limited to 480Mbps over USB 2.0, it's still better than 100Mbps Fast Ethernet. Worked immediately after installation. No

Ideal and cheap solution

I've been scouring Amazon for a connector for a Fire TV 4K flash drive capable of gigabit ethernet speeds. I decided to go with it. I checked the internet speed over Wi-Fi and it was 45Mbps. I then plug the Fire Stick 4K into that port and the speed jumps to the ISP's max speed (110Mbps). Many of you may be wondering why even more speed than 45Mbps is needed?! If you have a Plex server like me and you have full resolution (3840x2160 pixels) 4K movies on your server, you will have trouble…

3x faster than Revain original adapter

As usual, I read the reviews before buying this item. I mean there are 20 different adapters on the market and one would consider buying a branded adapter from Amazon for an Amazon device so I bought 3 of them. Before I changed it to the one in the office, where we watch 95 percent of the television, I tested the speed of the Amazon 95 dl and 30 ul ethernet adapter. Put this in place and test again, this time with 295 dl and 39 µl. So in summary, this adapter is 3x better than Amazon's branded…

The Best Ethernet Adapter You Can Get for Fire TV

This is the best ethernet adapter you can get for your FireTV, with one small caveat. The only downer is the very fiddly Y-cable, which contains both a USB-A plug for connecting to the power supply and a micro-USB 2.0 plug that has to be plugged into the FireTV to get power and an Ethernet connection. provide connection . In most installations this setting works, but in others it may result in an unnecessary amount of extra cables or the need to look for USB extension cables. The benefit…

Pros
  • The Amazon Fire Stick 3ft USB Ethernet Adapter can be plugged into a USB wall charger anywhere convenient; Plug in this Amazon Fire Stick ethernet adapter in place of the short USB AC power cord
Cons
  • Available in black only

Connect twice as fast for my Fire TV

I recently upgraded a Fire TV Stick 4K (B079QHML21) to a Fire TV Cube (B07KGVB6D6) to get Atmos sound on Netflix. The Cube comes with a network adapter (B074TC662N) but is limited to 100 Mbit/s. I prefer to use a wired connection to stream as the image quality is more consistent than over Wi-Fi. I have 500MP wired internet service, so this isn't a bottleneck, and I wanted to see if there was a way to get the maximum ethernet-over-USB speed (480Mbps). I have used many Cable Matters products and…

Speed >300/200 Mbps on Firestick 4K

110% satisfied and more than satisfied with this adapter. Basically, every other Ethernet adapter built to work with the FireStick uses Fast Ethernet, which limits the maximum speed to 100/100 Mbps, even though it's advertised at up to 480 Mbps (the maximum speed for a USB port on all Fire Sticks) and Fire Stick ). 4k models) - which is just plain stupid. However, this adapter has a Gigabit Ethernet port that breaks the 100Mbps hard limit. If you're just streaming Netflix or Prime Video…
