I love this brand and am endlessly looking for the perfect home for my daughter to add to her holidays and birthdays. In the end I chose Calico Critters because they are adorable and there are many add-ons and different furry families to buy. However, it annoys me that the designs of the country house with a red roof and a cozy little house don't really go together. Once you assemble them, the doors will not open. If you open the house up completely (180 °), there will not remain a cozy cottage

This is a nice house but poorly designed. It's meant to have spaces that you can reconfigure in different ways, but they don't force the pieces to stick together so they keep falling off as you play. Design changes are not obvious. I had to constantly look for ideas in the box. The children got upset every time the room collapsed.
