California Car Duster 62557 Super Review

My husband has used a Calif car duster for many years. I wanted my own because my car cover leaves white marks on it. I thought I'd buy the original like my husband. But this feather duster is terrible. I've been using it for 4 months now and there are still streaks on the windows. Now it has also started to leave red threads all over the car. It looks worse than the white coating I'm trying to remove. waste of money.

Received the goods today. The handle looks solid and is protected by an extra notch. I still use my old one from 15 years ago but the handle keeps falling off. Duster is reliable. Never wash and still serve their purpose. After each use, I bang it on a hard object to shake off the remaining dust. I just canceled my $20 a month car wash subscription. As others have said, lime cloths aren't what they used to be. The handle is wooden or plastic, the main problem is how little thread there is now in the standard size. Firstly if you buy this you MUST let it sit for at least a week. But wrap it in PLAIN paper and change it every day. WHY? Because you have to let the paper soak up some of the remaining wax that it covers the rag with. NOBODY seems to be reading the instructions! They try to vacuum your car right away or even after a few days and you will end up with wax smeared all over it. The company charges $13.59 to return a defective product! I had three original California dust bags and they worked pretty well. They were wet from the product they had put on them to collect the dust. You had to put them on top of the newspaper to soak up the excess product overnight. Then I decided on Super Duster.
