This vest was very comfortable and as others have said I didn't even realize I was wearing it most of the time. Used this for a trail marathon and was very comfortable! Plenty of space for essentials and plenty of liquid storage. Highly recommended!

I really like this water carrier. I would probably give it four or five stars based on comfort and design, but the carrier starts to stink very quickly. Whatever fabric is used, it only holds the smell. Now I have to wash it after every use.

Use this vest for runs > 8 miles and have used it in a half marathon. When I first got the vest I didn't think it would fit me (large bust) but the buttons are adjustable in height in terms of placement on the front of the vest which really helps. Lots of good size pockets. I can easily carry my phone, keys, gas, etc.

At first I liked this vest because it's small, light and comfortable. Used it once for a hike and it worked well. The second time I tried to use it, the reservoir leaked all over my bed. Thinking I hadn't sealed the reservoir properly I tried again but it kept dripping and dripping onto me and onto the floor. Not what I would have expected from a well known brand like CamelBak.

I was looking for a hydration option for long runs - carrying a bottle in my hand for hours on end drove me crazy, the straps bounced and chafed constantly and the backpack options always looked too big or bulky. Glad I tried! Even though it's bigger, it's light, breathes well and the extra space is gained by the handle. For my marathon, I easily carried half a dozen gels, my phone, subway cards and ID, and a pair of sunglasses in my front pockets. Good setting and options, I recommend.

This backpack is the best. It's well made and thoughtful in design (love the front pockets) and most importantly, the shoulder straps don't irritate the skin on my shoulders, even when I'm running in a tank top and they're sitting right next to my body. Leather. Doesn't move or slide like my previous backpack. I'm only 5ft 2in and was afraid it would be too big, but it's perfect. My first hydro jacket! So I have no comparison, but so far I like this vest. I wear it for my long runs (6+ miles), especially in the summer heat hydration is a must. It's lightweight, has handy pockets for lipstick, keys, etc. Fits my iPhone 8plus securely. Fits my figure well, looks good. Yes, you can hear water splashing, but it is water, what can you do. I really like this vest. I bought in XS/S, my height is 5ft 2in, 17in, weight around 120-125lbs. Even using a 1.5 liter bottle it was a really light weight. I actually used this for a 6 mile hike where I gained just over 2km of elevation in the first 3 miles. I really wanted to take a light backpack with me.
