It was the perfect size, but unfortunately I couldn't put it on the supply pipe coming out of the well. the hose on the cap was too big after messing it up I couldn't return it but would buy it again just needs to fit a smaller hose to the fountain.

This is a cast iron fountain cover. I bought this because it was one of the few caps that said it would fit my 5-5/8 pipe. This is best for 6-5/8 or 6 inch downhole tubing. It hung a bit over my whistle and was barely tight enough to hold the whistle. However the cap is very durable and I think the screws are stainless steel so this product should last a long time. would recommend.
