Like many others, I bought the 5D Mark II unaware of this hardware issue. After some poking around the web and forums, I found this banding issue (in full-size raw images) to be a common one. Canon only fixed the issue in the in-camera SRAW1 and SRAW II settings, not in full-size RAW images. JPEG users will not see this problem.
