Used to be a great printer!

I have had 2 previous models that lasted over 5 years each. The big thing or change that catches the eye most isn't the functionality, speed, or quality of prints or updates! It was a price change from $98.00 each to over $469.47 for the same base machine (oh my god!). It may have been the "last Canon printer" I ever invested in. unused ink cartridges on hand. When the ink runs out and this canon dies, that's it! "End Of The Line" Also, it's the middle center line, not much to brag about the…

Unreliable short lifespan

I have had this printer for several years. Overall I hardly use it and keep it clean. One day out of nowhere I get error code B203 and now nothing works. During my tenure, I only printed about 200 pages. This smacks of planned obsolescence to me. Also the scanner doesn't work and the touchscreen is useless as the error code takes up the entire screen. I've tried the online troubleshooter with no success. Such a shame what modern electronics has become. I remember old printers that weren't…

best solution for code b203 in Office Electronics

I bought this printer in December 2014, it knows for sure it showed the code B203. I found this fix and it has worked so well for me so far. When the printer is off, open the front cover where the ink is located. Now turn on the printer, wait for the ink head to move a little, then simply close the lid to return to its normal position. You should now see the Canon logo. Wait a minute or two and you should return to the normal menu. Now if you try to print something, you may get an error message
