🔒 Antique Brass Buckle with Flip Top Canvas Review

OK but the Flip Buckle wears out after 6 months. I use the belt frequently, at least 5 days a week. After about 6 months, opening and closing the clasp buckle begins to wear down the fabric belt. I would have preferred a military style buckle with a push bar but so far I have not found one that will hold together for more than about 6 months.

The metal tip at the end of the belt was not properly seated when crimped as it continues to clip (and detach) from the loops of the pant belt. I've tried crimping it again but it won't hold. This problem only occurs with one of the two belts ordered. But it also works without a tip (until it rolls off). The buckle is made of light metal but feels sturdy. Looks good.

Exactly what the doctor ordered for everyday use. Easy to size and use. Not too heavy but handles everyday use with no issues. I bought two of these: brown and olive green. Many colors are available to match eg golf pants or shorts etc. At this price you can't go wrong.

I have the same belt in a different color. I like this type of straps because they are easy to put on and can be adjusted with precision. I have one of those "fancy" ratchet straps but I only use them on clothes as they are leather. The rest of the time I wear these belts. They're not "trendy," but I can wear them with jeans, khakis, and everything from t-shirts to button-down shirts. I plan to buy other colors for more versatility.
