Description false

The product I received is a smoke alarm, not a carbon monoxide and smoke alarm. The product's name says it's both. Wouldn't buy it if there was only a smoke alarm. waste of time and money

Economical, does the job, in any room!

They're a great way to upgrade old detectors with replaceable batteries and they're affordable so put them in every room :) I love that the battery doesn't beep when you swap it out. Lasts 10 years and then thrown away. They are loud and wake up the whole house when needed. This is rest.

Peace of mind but annoying

My complaint about this is the light that flashes regularly to let you know it's working. At night it is insanely bright and looks like lightning. It's amazing and annoying. Otherwise so far so good. I hope I never have to know how well it detects a fire and that I can throw it away ten years after the battery is completely dead. If anything changes I will update!

They do the job - expensive!

Can't believe how expensive smoke alarms are these days! While it's definitely cheap insurance, I hate it when these manufacturers and sellers charge people close to $40 for something that obviously costs around $5. Installation was easy and so far they are working well. The instructions were a bit difficult to understand and actually differed a bit from the actual alarm function; Still, I give 4 stars because everything seems to work as expected. Definitely a bit cheap considering the cost, so

Something is terribly wrong!

There is a test switch on the back of these devices. When the device I received was connected to the cradle that came with it, the test button is pressed and the device stays in test mode the whole time, which means the alarm goes off all the time. I assume they sent the wrong mount for the device? As this is a life saving device this error makes me suspicious of the manufacturer or supplier so I am hoping not to get a full refund and that you will check the fit and function of your alarm on…
