The description states that the straps are 5.1 cm wide. I just received them and they are only 1 inch wide. Until I decided to come back or leave.

Ratchet couplings are the best. Use them as cargo in the wagon all the time. No more fiddling with bungee cords or worrying they're not tight enough.

I was very disappointed with these brackets. Described as "extremely heavy", they may be suitable for mounting a bike to a vehicle, but are too light and flimsy to be used as a motorcycle or ATV mount. Now it's time to ship them back to Revain's UPS Store.

Really good tie down straps. The ratchet mechanism is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It's a flimsy strap and I'd be leery of using it for super-heavy duty, but it's great for attaching my Thule roof rack, which is all I need it for. Finding a decent six-foot ratchet strap isn't easy, and they definitely fit, especially for the price. I'm using them for an upcoming trip so I'll update if there are any issues, but I'm not really anticipating them. Five stars for my purposes. Edit 05/17/12…
