Cheaper alternative than most gates on the internet and does exactly what it's supposed to. The 4 inch extensions were great since our hallways are 53 inches wide. Very happy with these gates.

It's solid but the slide latches are fabric covered and difficult to adjust. The assembly instructions are easy to understand, but physically putting the pieces together is difficult. Another person is needed to hold the parts during assembly. love the zipper door!

Expandable grille works better than I thought. It can be installed for many sizes with poles holding the gate to the surface. I think a pet door is a great idea if you must use one. I use it to keep one of my cats away from an older cat so they each have their own territory. Luckily she can't jump over it, but a larger cat can easily handle it.

It's perfect. I haven't found anything comparable that is fully adjustable to the inch. My hallways are 47 inches, so it was difficult to find something that would fit. It has a little cat hole so my cats can get a place from my dog if they want. I have to step over the gate, but I don't mind. I wouldn't want to take it off often because it's pretty hard to set up, so I'd suggest you set it up and leave it.

The door opening was within what this product supports, but at this small size the frame twists and warps and cannot be repaired.
