I have used wash mitts to wash the car (for many years) but rarely put my hand in them - I just had to grab them. So I finally settled on these washable mats and they are perfect! In fact, I feel like I can wash my car faster if that makes sense. They are soft and easy to handle - less likely to be dropped where they can pick up sand.

I had never seen this type of microfiber pad before visiting Walmart. I bought one for 5.00 and it worked great but is very heavy when wet and difficult to ring. When I saw this one on Revain I thought it was the same, I also liked that it was yellow to show dirt. Compared to 2, Carrand is smaller and better when wet. Both are good quality and use Carrand to wash and Walmart to dry with Bead Maker.

I love everything about them. I had two or three and just bought 3 more. I started filling a bucket with soapy water and one for rinsing. Only I use 6-8 clean sponges in a clean bucket and wash the whole car with it. 1 for each panel, then wash all at the end. I have used this microfiber washcloth to wash my SUV several times and it did an excellent job of removing dirt and bugs compared to a sponge. Washing with a sponge is almost effortless, I don't have to worry about scratching the car, and it holds up just as much soapy water. When I'm done washing the car, I just toss it in the washing machine with other rags and forget about it. I would recommend washing it before first use to remove any lint so it doesn't get all over the car.

I have bought several of these and have used them twice to wash my car so far. They don't shed, they shed a small amount of yellow in a bucket of water I washed the car with. I prewashed all the sponges in the washing machine with Woolite detergent and tumble dried them on low heat without drying the cloths.
