Very easy to connect: plug

Easy to connect. Having a pig tail made all the difference. Suck the mounting screws. I went to the ace and bought a stainless steel.

7 pin trailer connector

I bought this for a power center to test trailer lights. It is powered by a small 12 volt battery and allows me to test a trailer's headlights without being plugged into the car.

Good quality but missing part

Only gave 3 stars because the bracket was missing. It's probably not carrofix's fault. Otherwise it looked like a quality product. I sent it back and picked it up in town as I needed it right now.

Exactly what I expected.

Great product. I swapped out a crazy looking fork on my 99 F350 for these and it only took about 20 minutes and most of the time I was running back and forth to get tools. The color codes match and they really like the supplied crimp connections.

Cheap socket and if you want to tow a large trailer with it, buy something solid

This trailer socket has a spring loaded flap that will not latch the plug as intended. The spring also digs into the body of this product, making the door difficult to open and close and sometimes jams. The internal connectors don't feel well plated or strong enough to hold the connector, and the door should latch the connector securely, which it doesn't. I tested it after installation and was so disappointed I removed it for safety before using it to tow a trailer.
