Excellent product. I used to fill Sodastream bottles from a large tank using an adapter. I decided to buy this and it works great. 1-pound Sodastream cans will be exchanged for $15 each. I can fill up my 20 pound tank for $30. The product works great. Just remember to use teflon tape on the tank and machine threads before tightening.

So simple. CO2 shortages wiped out Sodastream's cash flow :) At first yes, I panicked at the thought that none of the gas cartridges available were owned. But lol, this solution will save you a lot of money if you don't mind the looks. I just moved my entire charring operation to the garage and bought a few extra bottles, made 4 at a time and took them to the fridge.

I hooked this up to a Drinkmate brewer with no problem and hooked it up to a 20lb tank of food grade CO2 (easy to find at most welding shops - please don't use non-food CO2 ; ) I have learned from my own bitter experience that the fitting must be tightened with a wrench at both ends or it may come loose and release your CO2. the strainer on the counter and I still have some slack to move the strainer. I would buy it again without any problems.

Made the mistake of putting this on and turning on CO2 from a large tank. A day later I came back and - WTF!? - The tank was empty. That should have lasted for MONTHS, but instead all the CO2 escaped. On closer inspection, I heard a faint hiss. When we first got the tube, our seltzer had a distinctly strong plastic taste. This only seemed to happen if we left the car unused overnight. As a simple fix, we just ran our Sodastream on a pump or two before sparkling our first bottle of the day. Great product! I've been trying to fill those stupid CO2 soda cans for about a year. Sometimes they fill up, sometimes not so much because of the safety valve placed in the canister. This bypasses all of these problems. Connect directly to a large CO2 tank and you're done. I had a small leak when I first installed it, but I tightened the fitting a few turns and the leak was gone.
