Description of 🔧 Casablanca 99195 Fan and Light Wall Remote Control in White (Works with Casablanca Universal Receiver 99199, sold separately)

NOTE: This remote requires a Casablanca receiver to already be installed in the fan. If not, required a Casablanca 99199 receiver (sold separately). Requires Casablanca Universal Receiver 99199 (sold separately) to work with pull chain fans. Four Speeds. For use with most Casablanca “5XXXX” series fans.

Doesn't work for all Casablanca fans!

Doesn't work for all Casablanca fans! Only works on fans with a blue receiver in the cover. A workaround if your fan doesn't have a receiver is to order 99019 Universal 4 Speed Remote with Receiver. Note: 99020 is not supplied with the receiver. Another point worth noting is that the switch uses (2) AAA batteries. To replace the batteries you have to remove the switch from the wall, an odd design. Maybe not a switch for someone, like a skirmish over electricity. Hope that helps

Works with Hunter Exeter 54 " and Hunter Kaplan 64 " fans from Costco

I have purchased Hunter Exeter 54" and Hunter Kaplan 64" fans from Costco and I have two wall mounted controllers that work with these fans. When you turn on the fans for the first time, either using the power switch or the power button on the bottom of this controller, you must pair this controller with the fan (Press the fan and light buttons on this controller until the light on the fan flashes three times ) . Then you can use this wall control and the wireless controller (which comes with…

This looks like a nice fan switch and I wish it would work for me, but I was looking for a first generation Inteli Touch fan switch to replace my 30 year old Casablanca fan. The info said it would work on CasaBlanca fans without a chain, so I bought it. It was actually unclear that you have to buy and install the right receiver for this, and that the canopy on my old fan is not big enough to accommodate the receiver. I called everyone looking for a replacement switch and found them (although…

Very easy! for accessories

I was nervous about replacing our old wall switch but it was incredibly easy to install and hook up to my Casablanca fan. It even improved my ability to use my fan as my previous remote didn't work to dim the lights. It does and I'm so excited to use it! My only two complaints are small but may be informative: 1. There is no dedicated button to change the fan direction, but if you press and hold the fan button it will. I'm afraid I'll forget if I want to do it! well.2. The blue control LED is…

Works with Casablanca Isotope fans!

This would have been much more difficult without reviewer Elizabeth B. She explained everything as clearly as the manufacturer should, so I recommend you to refer to her review. As other reviewers have noted, it's not universal, but designed for use with newer fans with a specific receiver type. If you have an exhaust chain fan, you will need to install a receiver, sold separately. The wall controller that came with our fan sucks. The light is hidden in the middle and most little fingers still…

Two remotes Possibly

Recently the remote for my 22 year old Hunter remotes stopped responding to requests to turn the lights on and off. We had a wall switch remote and a free remote that were part of the old Hunter 27185 range. I spent weeks looking for new features to have the same remote options when Hunter stopped making old remotes for their original (made in USA) fans. They work great together and my system works. Although there is a version of this remote control for hunters, they are currently not available

Two 99195 wall remotes can control one universal receiver 99199

Advantages: Two wall remotes can be programmed to control a fan/light combination. pressed hard enough. The fan and light will work even after a power failure (because batteries are used to save programs) when used with the 99199 universal receiver. The fan on/off switch remembers the fan speed and turns it on or off at the last set speed. The light switch turns the light on/off. This may be due to the fan LED in the fan assembly not dimming. Seems a bit pricey: $90 for two wall switches and a…

Installation Overview

Just finished installing this controller. The controller requires your fan to have a wireless receiver (sold separately) installed in the fan case. I used the Casablanca Piston fan controller that came with the wireless receiver. The controller requires two AAA batteries to power the wireless backlight, brightness up/down, fan power, and speed up/down buttons. The main switch (below the six wireless buttons) is a mechanical single-pole switch that's hardwired like a regular light switch. Main…
