I started by putting a socket on the rail and it was very narrow, which is what I was looking for. I then tried to take it off and couldn't get it off the piece holding the socket. As I moved on, everything fell apart. Then I noticed that the holder that is still attached to the socket is tearing because I'm tired of removing the socket. I am sending these back. I'm a helicopter mechanic and have had other types of socket holders but this is the first plastic one.

This is a good set of socket holders. They are well made and easy to work with. They also look good, nice depth of colour. Great to have a kit for SAE and metrics in my chosen color. Publication. Bought for a garage conversion. When I finally got to the organization section, I opened them up and found some broken clips on set. I haven't even touched them and some are broken. Of course this is now outside the return window but I doubt they will survive. Really poor quality control as I received it broken in the packaging. I would think of something else. Tools and objects that hold tools must withstand at least loads. I will not buy this or even this brand again. Unhappy!

Okay, that's not to say they reinvented the wheel, but they get the job done. I only have 2 problems with them: they always tilt to one side or the other, even though my toolbox doesn't move around the store at all, so I always have to take them apart a few times a day. And the second problem is that some of them don't even hold an outlet. It's all his work! Bought 3 sets of 3 packs 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 and 3/8 seems to hold but 1/2 rails seem to close keep rail attachment from breaking. The last set that turned up had 4 of the 1/2 plugs broken in the packaging and I only had them on their side in my work cart as they wouldn't fit in my drawer. I went with the 22mm drop head and it snapped off the rail. I haven't taken it out since I put them in there during my shift yesterday and the next day, before I could even try to remove it from the 1/2…
