Minus a start as mine doesn't have a switch.

The switch is not attached to me. I've found that it falls in the middle during ratchet which stops the ratchet from working. When tightening screws in soft aluminium, this can lead to the thread tearing off. I tried sending it back for a replacement but waited too long before using it and the return window closed.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people

Good size and torque range

Seems accurate, fits my Mac torque wrench and tech locking bracket perfectly. a mid-stroke that blocks the head, but it's pretty easy to accidentally flip over and not notice. My main benefit was being able to carry 250 pounds and still be small and that suits both of them pretty well.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Not acceptable in hand tools

I was shocked when I received a torque wrench. Supplied in a thin paper box. Upon inspecting the torque wrench it had a lube similar to that of a mechanic and fingerprints/thumbprints all over it. Also, the torque was not set to the minimum value (57 in-lbs). The torque wrench turned out to be used and I can only assume it was returned and reissued. I am a US Air Force retiree and have worked in and managed the aerospace industry; If a torque wrench has been returned, it is advisable to…

Used item instead of new one I paid for

Used item instead of new one I paid for the hope of a new one you can get used to that like me. Used Item Size may be disabled as it has not been fully disabled to the minimum recommended setting by CDI. Shipping in a bag might not help much either, otherwise the condition of the item looked very good for a used item. Any effort by Revains to remedy the situation will cost more than the exact same item being sold used.

10 " overall length

This torque wrench is very well made but when I received it I was surprised it was nowhere near the length people were talking about. I photographed it next to the folding band so everyone can see HOW LENGTH IT IS! I'm not complaining about the length because I was concerned it would be uncomfortable in a confined space. I had to use it. The photo they use for the 1/4" torque wrench is also the same photo as the 1/2" torque wrench. This wrench is 24 inches long. 1/4 inch length is 10 inches…

Great tool fits wrenches

I have several CDI torque wrenches, here's why: First they look good - the laser engraved chrome finish makes this tool great and easy to clean. I know it's just a tool, but having a tool that feels good in your hand is a lot more fun. The micrometer setting is 10's around the dial so you don't have to add or guess what setting you have. I've used others with 15 pound divisions and this tool takes the hassle out of it. Simply pull back the spring loaded bushing and rotate the main body to…

Overall Length 10 "

This torque wrench is very well made, but I was surprised to learn that it's nowhere near the advertised length was in the ask. I photographed it next to the fold-out volume so everyone can see HOW LONG IT IS! I'm not complaining about the length because I was concerned it would be uncomfortable in the cramped space I had to use. inch The photo they use for the 1/4 inch torque wrench is also the same photo as the 1/2 inch torque wrench. This one is 24 inches long. 1/4 inch length is 10 inches…

Quality Wrench at a Bargain Price

Dollar for dollar this wrench is a winner. In terms of fit and finish, it's almost identical to the snap-on torque wrench I own that costs almost four times as much. The snap-on wrench might be more reliable in professional use because it looks like a more powerful ratchet head, but the difference in performance isn't immediately noticeable. I also have Craftsman and Gear Wrench wrenches and they are clearly superior to either of them. The construction is all metal and the knurled handle…

Pros
  • The metal handle series gives the user a durable
Cons
  • Not bad but...

This is my third CDI torque wrench that I have bought from Revain. This was purchased to complete my set as I already had a size 1/2 and 3/8. I believe the heads are the only difference between them and the snap on version. While I love clasps and use clasps extensively along with craftsmen and occasionally some branded items these are absolutely amazing quality and accuracy for the price. I recently rearranged a new clutch, brakes, tires and used this 1/4 size to tighten the slave cylinder to…

Pros
