The scent is so strong that everyone comments on it and it worries the people who use it. There must be a short somewhere in the torque wrench because when we first opened it up and put the batteries in, it broke off in the middle. Turning or shaking the key. I bought two CF3 torque wrenches specifically because they are known for their good quality and are made in America. However, I was disappointed to find that both had quality issues straight away. I couldn't even install the batteries on the first key as the battery contact spring seemed to be in the wrong place. I'm sure I can bend it into the working position with pliers, but I really don't expect to have to hack a new tool to get it working. How did it even pass quality control? Theβ¦
