This was the second turn signal I installed on my golf cart using the ON-OFF-ON switch to control the LED signal lights. Worked well to convert my truck (1986 F-250) to LED headlights. I used two of these to replace the factory turn signal and hazard relays. I hooked up the emergency gear relay with no modifications, but I had to change the polarity of the turn signals (pulling the wires out of the fuse box and swapping them) to make it work. I bought these as replacement turn signals for my 1955 Bel Air because I was replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs. The one inside is identical to this one except for the negative ground lead, just from a different manufacturer. I unplugged mine, which works as it should, and plugged this one in. Nothing! At first they didn't work because my truck had reverse polarity for the factory thermal flashers. Purchased to replace the 2 pin electronic turn signal on my Jeep since I switched to all LED headlights. I figured this would provide a more stable flash as the electronic flash I have is fairly system voltage dependent and very slow in standby mode with lots of accessories. Works great! I've tried incandescent, incandescent/LED combo, and all LEDs on my 1965 Corvair. It works in all cases as advertised. A few notes: I had to reverse the wires on the factory GM outlet to get the polarity right. If this is not the case, the turn signal will not work. The vehicle these two turn signals were fitted to was a '96 Dodge Ram pickup with 100% LED headlights. The old turn signals didn't work with the new LEDs. The new turn signals work great with a distinct click; There is no delay when turn signals or hazard warning lights go out. I suspect the latency issues mentioned by other reviewers are due to poor grounding. The lack of a good connection can cause the electronics to do strange things.
