Bad quality extremely inefficient

Terrible product! Luckily I was smart enough to buy an extended warranty. I did some research and decided to buy this product to replace my original remote which stopped working after 5 years. I'm handy so I was able to change this with no problem, make sure you turn off the switch or see a professional if unsure. This stopped working 3 days after receiving/installing the product, after calling Amazon a replacement was sent. Now, less than 2 months later, the remote control doesn't work at all!

iFAN03 controls light on/off and three speed fan

I installed this controller on a ceiling fan in my living room. Connections were easy to make and the controller fits easily into the fan case. Pairing the remote with the controller was easy, but the included manual didn't describe the process very well. I found more information on the internet. The controller turns the light on and off and offers three default fan speeds. All of this worked flawlessly. There is no factory reset and you cannot control the fan with Alexa. You can only control the light

The eWelink application is buggy and will re-enter your inputs multiple times, so be careful when creating an account. iFan03 won't factory reset no matter what I do and that's why I can't connect it to my account because it's stuck on an account I don't have access to because the app is duplicating the first part of my email address entered. The same thing happened to my wife on a completely different phone. The fan also cannot be controlled by Alexa. What they show here only applies to real…

Great adapter to turn a cheap dumb fan into a smart one

Pros I bought 3 of these for 3 rooms on the second floor where the lights were wired directly to the mains (no switch access). They turned 3 $50 ceiling fans into $150+ models. Since the remotes connect when first turned on (and the button on the remote is held down for a few seconds), I had to take the remotes to the basement to connect. Works great except no dimming function

I am very happy with this unit. To get around the fact that there is no light dimming feature, I just install smart bulbs that interact directly with Revain Alexa or Google Home voice commands to dim the lights. I used to use another smart home fan controller that Bond required for Alexa to work with a fan.
