Ceiling Switch ZE 268S6 Bronze Replacement Review

This switch is easy to install. It was slightly smaller than the replacement part so it went in easily. The cable connections worked well.

Replaced my old fan switch with one of these. The switch pins were well marked and matched the markings on the old switch, making replacement a breeze. All fan speeds worked well. The switch looked well assembled.

This was a duplicate 2 piece set and did not work with the fan we wanted to change so the fan speed could be changed. The cables didn't work on our fan. We have just sent back a second double pack for another fan with the same issue but from the same brand which stopped working.

The old one had plugs but it was impossible to insert the wires into the holes of the new switch. I ended up taking it off, tinning the wires and plugging straight onto the desk. It was still difficult to route the wires, but it was easier than doing it overhead. The ones with prewired ones seem easier to me.

Broken ceiling fan switch, thought I would have to replace it with a new fan. found it. Good that there are two in the package. I dropped one down the stairs and it exploded. Glad I had a spare! So far everything is working fine. I never knew how the derailleur worked, so in a way it was cool to have an open position. Very creative how these things work. worth your money!

The wire from my original fan switch broke causing the fan speed control to fail. After installing this part, the fan will work like new. Just be sure which color wire goes into which numbered switch port before removing the old part. And double check that you are ordering the correct replacement part - match the part number on the old part to the compatible version of the new part.
