Bought a 2005 Trailblazer for the winter and the console handle was broken. Bought this replacement and installed it in 10 minutes and it works great.

OMG! Finally, my center console lid no longer accidentally opens. It drove me crazy! This lock is easy to assemble and effectively prevents the perineum console cover from being opened unintentionally.

They are cheap. It's not the most durable material. But. They're cheap, work great, and install in 3 minutes. I still have a spare as I received 2 packs. Basically, for $4, my armrest stays closed.

Works great, ordered because of the price, didn't know there were two of them! It was a pleasant surprise because these things can break if you don't pay attention to them, as happened with the first one I installed. Pulled slightly out of the console and grabbed the sleeve of my Carhardt and clicked. But don't worry, the second one was here and mounted with just a few Phillips screws.

Broken latch on Saab 9-7x replaced with it. Build quality is very close to OEM and installation was easy. One adjustment I made was the armrest cover itself. It had to be moved to line up with the new latch. After this setting was made, everything worked fine. The photos I have attached show a comparison of the old broken latch with the new one. The locking hook is slightly different, but does not affect the function.

So far I've broken THREE of these stupid things in less than a year from infrequent use of the center console cover. To be honest they should probably have a ledge that attaches the sunroof to that little metal lever on the console. Normally I'd say it's pure negligence/abuse by users, but I'm not sure how it keeps breaking because it's never been slammed and I don't open it more than once every few months as I don't save anything. there I use regularly. I'm already tired of changing this…
