This serrated knife is excellent! I have had some of my knives for over 22 years because they're my favorites. I didn't have a favorite serrated knife for slicing bread, and tomatoes with and the ones I had didn't work very well. I've also had ceramic knives before but they never made it into my favorites drawer until now. This knife has definitely made it!

When I think ceramic, I assume white. Aside from that difference in color, this is a very nice knife at a decent value. I wasn’t used to such a long knife but have gotten used to it easily. I use it for a majority of my chopping & bread as well as it’s quoted use- tomatoes. Definitely my "go to” knife.

Fantastic bread knife! I use this to cut my very crispy, very crunchy Crispy Yogurt Whey Bread. Not only is it sharp, but it has the nifty blade protector sleeve that keeps it protected and it's a lot lighter than like steel knives.

I bought the 6 inch version of this knife, used it for 4 years, then a piece broke off and I had to throw it away. I used it every day, multiple times a day. I just bought another 6 inch and an 8 inch version. Even with the fancy knives I have that are $70 and more a piece, I go to this knife every time. For the price and the usefulness, it's hard to beat.

I love to bake & serve homemade bread. A serrated bread knife slices the bread best as it gives a clean cut rather than smashing the bread.

However, it is ceramic which is a form of glass and they can be broken. Do NOT use it as you would a Ginzu knife and try to cut cans. Use it for bagels, tomatoes, bread and it will last forever.”

This is the second one I have purchased. This one is a gift. They are ridiculously sharp. They cut easily through bagels, tomatoes, and fruits. Very easy to keep clean and it is as sharp today as it was when 1st purchased a year ago.

I love this knife! Thank you Cestari Kitchen! I have very disabling arthritis in my hands so I am no longer comfortable using a straight bladed knife. I prefer a serrated blade as it grips whatever I am cutting better. This knife glides thru anything I have used it on. It doesn't slip off the tomatoes, and cuts them paper thin. Slicing cooked meats is a pleasure. I also appreciate the handle grip. It fits well in my hand and doesn't slip. This is my new go to knife. Sharp as a razor.I just love

I have tried many serrated knives and find that the steel ones like Wusthof and Henkels start out sharp, but dull quickly and can't be sharpened at home. I have also tried name brand ceramic serrated knives including Kuhn Rikon and Kyocera, and despite their claims, I don't find that they can cut through soft vegetables like tomatoes without crushing them. Product arrived in a very nice box and presented in a form-fitting setting. If you wanted to give this knife as a present, all you have to do is wrap it. The knife, itself, is serrated and very sharp. This is my first ceramic knife, so I don't know how long it will last. But I assume that if I use it as it was intended to be used, it will last quite a while. However .The edge of the knife is serrated like a saw. I wish that two versions of this knife were produced—serrated and straight edges. I would get them both.A straight edge would work better then serrated when cutting large prime rib steaks.

This knife is a waste of money. The first couple times using it, a few teeth broke off. Which isn't acceptable due to the fact that you wouldn't want to bite down onto a piece of metal. Then while i was walking to set the knife into my office it fell off of my desk and broke in half. Uh I've never heard of a kitchen knife breaking in half due to dropping.
