The best lime squeezer. fits manual juicers

This is my third type of juicer that I have bought. I used to use one of those big citrus presses, but I usually just make lemons and limes. Back then I pre-squeezed a packet at a time, but realized I prefer freshly squeezed, so I grabbed this lime squeezer and a large lemon squeezer. I'll tell you it's a lot easier than the big press. I don't have to lug this thing into the kitchen just to squeeze a piece of fruit. Just remember to pick it up, and when the juice runs out, don't force it.

Good Juicer: Kitchen & Food

I bought this to replace the basic juicers you find at various stores. I was pleased that the lever handle had a mechanism to increase the pressure without using the power of the Hulk's arm. This way the juicer does its job, but I've found that I have to stack the fruit (limes and lemons) to get all the juice, and I still have to tilt the juicer to squeeze all the juice out. Pros: I get a little more pulp. Pretty easy to use and clean. Cons: The fruit still needs to be flipped to get ALL the…

A must have in every home bar

This is the first time I have bought a lemon squeezer and I really like it. A lime squeezer was added, although the lemon squeezer worked great for limes too. Sometimes it's handy for me to have a pair. If you're only going to buy one, get a lemon squeezer, as they handle large lemons just as well as limes. A lime squeezer can handle small lemons, but is definitely smaller and too small for medium to large lemons. Without a doubt I think these are the best juicers you can get and a must have…

Easy Margaritas is good for fruits and vegetables

This juicer is amazing! It's that easy to use. I buy a bag of 20-30 limes from Costco. I then spend about half an hour slicing and squeezing limes and pouring 3 ounces of juice into 4 ounce Dixie cups and popping them in the freezer. When I want to make some margaritas, I take a cup of Dixie, microwave it for a minute, and add 3 ounces of triplesec, 4 ounces of tequila, and a few drops of blue agave sweetener. Pour ice into a salt glass and enjoy. To get the most out of each lime, I've found…

Mojitos, margaritas and more

I've been playing with citrus reamers, an old metal lime press and my own hands for too long. I finally switched to this lemon/lime squeezer and couldn't be happier. The first thing that strikes you about this gadget is its volume. The plastic is durable and doesn't seem to want to break easily. could you break it Of course. BUT - I think you need to use it differently than you normally would for this thing. If you kept trying to juice the same fruit and created enough friction in the plastic…

I don't understand the bad reviews

People seem to complain about the flimsy design of this juicer but I have had absolutely no problems with this product. I often use this to squeeze lemons for fresh lemonade and limes for homemade margaritas on the weekends. Thanks to the gearing, you don't have to use King Kong-like pressure to squeeze all the juice from citrus fruits. Persons! If you break gears, you're using too much force! Yes, metal gears can be an improvement, but they will also make the juicer a lot more expensive. As…

Pros
  • Wide range

Leaves a lot of unpressed juice (quantitative data!)

First, make sure you are ordering the right product. I wanted a lime juicer, but on my first try I got a Chef 'n FreshForce (Lime) citrus juicer that was lime colored but not lime sized. It's really meant for oranges or large lemons, not limes. This review is about the Chef'n FreshForce Lime Juicer itself. We have been using the Cuisinart CCJ-500 electric juicer for a number of years now. It works well, but it takes about half an hour to juice a Costco bag of limes, so I was looking for…
