Just like the original is good

I really liked the magnetic bed on my Ender 3 Pro. Adhesion is excellent, although printed skirts tend to leave their ghosts in the textured surface over time. Ugly, but it can actually improve adhesion a bit. Creality warns against layer operating temperatures above 80°C in order to preserve the magnetic properties of the layer material. Several YouTubers have run it at 100°C for ABS and claim that this hasn't affected the magnetic properties of the bed material. I will be working on a project

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Crumpled

I have this for my Ender 5 but it's pretty much the same as Ender 3 (same build plate). I've noticed that the build surface is smoother than my Ender 5, which is actually a good thing. It's somewhere between a glass bed and a standard build surface. Adhesion was really great, I don't remember if the original build surface was that sticky but I haven't had any adhesion issues. When I replaced it, it was MUCH better than my standard desktop. The only real issue is that I didn't replace the heated

Pros
  • Spare parts and accessories for 3D printers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Why didn't I buy this sooner? What a HUGE IMPROVEMENT from what I was doing before. Ok, so far I've only printed PLA and it's good (but not TOO good). How about impressions? OH MY. No more scratching and chopping. I actually bought this as an experiment. I have a Sindoh DP200 which comes standard with a detachable bed but not a flexible one. So while I could remove the bed to get a better angle for my scraper and not have to worry about messing up the bed planes, removing the casts was a real…
