📞 AltoPlus Amplified Corded Phone - Clarity 54505.001, Black Review

I bought this for my mother-in-law, who is very hard of hearing and thinks it's great. She can overhear every conversation as if she were sitting with someone in her living room!

What a bad reputation for the company. Tried all settings but the other side always said the sound is muffled and hard to hear. The volume wasn't enough and I can't hear badly. I have tried all hands free phones, no one can make bootable and clean? Where are Bose when we need them?

Availability This phone has been working properly for 12 months. This was purchased on April 14, 2020 (bought unused) and stopped working on May 1, 2021, just below the warranty mark. I called customer service and was told there was a 90.00 service charge on returns (with postage it would be just as reasonable to buy a new phone). Be careful before ordering. I have to say that the elderly lady rarely used this phone.

Bought for my mother who is hard of hearing. I got the first one and the audio was loud but muffled/distorted even for me and my hearing is pretty good. I spoke to a specialist at Clarity and he told me to return it for another, which I did. Yesterday I got a new one, no better than the original. Send it back and try another brand/model. Bought this phone for a 90 year old dementia patient with severe hearing loss. The phone can be configured so that the gain is unity when the handset is picked up, which is what this user wanted. Now she can hear, and I can hear from across the room too. I tried other phones before ordering this one and they just didn't boost the audio enough for it. Now we can make a call.
