🪚 Wood CNC Router Shank - Nitomak Review

This cutter was too dull to do a good panel leveling job on hardwood. We used it for end cutting boards. Lots of micro break and ledger lines. Not even sanding could remove the pits created by this bit. But we thought it was up to us, our technique, or we were pushing the approach too much. I recently bought a Freud 1-1/4" slot cutter but I found it was too small for my job so I ordered it. And there makes a big difference in sharpness. I was hesitant to buy a router bit this cheap. I'm leveling an 8 inch sheet of hardwood to make a coffee table. It worked very well. I cut the slab 2″ to 6″ and may have even gone a little thinner. The bit worked very well in my large Bosch router with extension that I bought with the bit. The bit cuts well at nearly 1/4 inch per pass. I wasn't trying to go deep. The finished cut surfaces are absolutely smooth, but must be ground. I expected that. I'm not sure how much better an expensive…
