Ideal tool for cutting (eyebrows).

I buy this item often. My mother owns a salon and this has been the best product for her (eyebrow) carving so far. She has been using this product for 2 years now because of its softness and durability. I'm pretty sure it's a general purpose thread, but in my context it was only used to create a thread.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Constant breakage in the sewing machine

This is a very poorly processed yarn. In my 50+ years of sewing, Coats & Clarke has never let me down. But this thread is unusable and going to the trash. Looking at it, it can be said that it cannot be used on a sewing machine. It's fluffy, has no sheen, and has fluffy scraps of fabric, almost like yarn! What happened to C&C? Did you think nobody would notice?

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Little things

good thread. good for sewing

The labels on these spools are not like the labels on all my other Coats and Clark spools, and not on the spools that have a slot around the end of the spool to avoid spools the yarn to back up but instead has a small notch of cheaper spools so I was wondering if it was actually Coats and Clark yarn but maybe they just changed the label and went back to the old spool style in the last six months. The thread works fine, I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • even the old can understand
Cons
  • no paint required

Pandemic Purchase: Sew

Thread is not normally purchased through Revain but the pandemic has changed everything. I made masks and ran out of thread. At Walmart, the only store open at the time, not a single damn reel was found. This topic was used for general purposes. However, it is NOT suitable for free-motion quilting, regardless of what the manufacturer says. Coates and Clarke knot the ends of the threads, so when you unwind the bobbin on your machine you have to be careful not to hit the knot and break your…

Pros
  • Has a polyester coated polyester backing for durability
Cons
  • Requires rosette

Can't believe how bad!

Everyone knows how hard it is to find all-purpose white thread for our current sewing projects. I waited 4 weeks from Michaels for my first order and it was very small rolls. When I ordered them from Revain they arrived relatively quickly and I thought everything was back to normal. Just used this thread and spent 2 hours it kept breaking! My eyesight is not very good, but even I can see tufts on a thread where it is not tightly twisted. Should the average consumer be satisfied with an inferior

  • 3 packs

DO NOT buy for sewing

TERRIBLE. First, the delivery took almost 6 weeks. Calling it a "thread" is really generous. The quality is ridiculous - it doesn't look mercerized because it's covered in pile and the twist is loose and long. And why is "thickness" the quality by which the thread is judged? Thicker isn't better. Thicker doesn't mean better quality. It's like judging shoes by their size. And here's something I've never encountered in a decade of sewing - the FLOOR spool. This is a hollow cylinder. It should…
