I bought this device to start caching. So far I've found it to be as accurate as any other brand provided I have a "clear view of the sky" as the manual states. I've checked its location on every cache I've found so far and it's usually within 2 or 3 meters. Assuming other geocachers use all sorts of brands, I think this is a pretty fair test. Let me start by saying that I'm not the type of GPS user who expects a signal everywhere. After all, these satellites fly many miles above Earth in space! While I expect to lose signals from time to time, I don't expect to never get them. My device had some problems when it first received satellites.
