Looks great on filters

Took about half an hour to install but looks good. I don't care about performance, but I can tell a small difference in how my truck handles on the highway.

Apparent Power Boost

Installation is not difficult for a person with mechanical inclinations. My pickup required a small fan shroud trim. Be sure to check the packaging for all parts. The package I received was missing a filter adapter so I had to improvise with a Covid19 mask and gorilla tape. After contacting K&N, the item arrived a few days later.

Great mod for Chevy

I bought this and installed it on my truck and am very happy with the purchase. Installation went smoothly and relatively quickly. The only minor inconvenience was trimming the edge of the fan cover a bit to keep the pipe from rubbing and seating properly, but the instructions say you may need to do this. The next day I got the 40 series Flomaster exhaust and the Chevy V8 sounds fantastic. I would highly recommend the K&N to anyone looking for a bit more power as it definitely opens up the…

Easy to Install, Durable Product

My truck is 20 years old (model 99) and has been raised so it is big, heavy and old. Other than that, I don't notice a huge change in performance, but I do notice an improvement in highway acceleration at higher speeds - just what I was hoping for. Considering the difference on the dyno is 9+ horsepower. (and you can check out some independent YouTube videos that confirm exactly that) it's good value for money.
