While this can be adjusted to go the other direction, there are pre-drilled and embedded bolt holes that are not on both ends/sides of the desktop piece. You will have to drill into the desk and use washers or find other screws that will work to hold on the support brackets.It looks good. There was damage on one of the wooden slabs that I noticed while assembling. Since I have put it together, it would be a hassle to dismantle it and return it and then do it all over again. Pretty disappointed with the wooden planks.

This is exactly what I needed to fit my computer, monitor, and office items, it fit into my 10x10ft room and has a modern, sleek look to it. Love the color, love the size, the height. The desk is fine overall, but the main reason I bought this one was for the "removable shelf.” The shelf and the pieces to attach the shelf are no where to be found in the box. Considering how complicated the assembly process was, I’d rather not go through the return/replace process for the entire desk (which is apparently the only option since amazon refuses to just ship me the missing parts).

So, it was an easy setup however when i got to the end, I noticed that on the two desk panels one of them had the wholes drilled on the opposite side of where they were supposed to be. I triple checked my steps and came to the same conclusion. Do not waste your money! Seller says the sides are interchangeable but it is NOT! The holes are meant for the right side only! Wasted my time and money on this table!
