Multiple leaks. Aluminum is too soft

3 out of 4 female connectors will leak around the connector unless perfectly straight, which never happens in service. Not a thread but around the Milton Type V fork that came with the kit. Very disappointed. They are made of soft aluminum and are very easy to scratch. This image shows how small a sound has to be to ooze out. To update. Aluminum hardware sucks. 30 minutes of use of the pneumatic chisel destroyed the male end. Very difficult to remove.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Made in China Best Air Tool Parts and Accessories

I was a bit disappointed with the product as it is made in China. I was expecting the US because Milton is a US company and other similar Milton products I've purchased were made in the US. The connections seem to be of good quality. The forks are not as good as the other US made Milton forks I've bought in the past. They are made of ALUMINUM! American made forks are made of STEEL, stronger and more durable than Chinese ones. The site mentions steel and aluminum. The box says "Heavy Duty Steel"

Durable, does what it promises. Good price.

high-performance fittings, what can I say? I have many Milton products because they are readily available in my area but more importantly they are very durable and well made. I haven't noticed a significant increase in airflow, but my air tools seem to be running at slightly more power. I don't have time to build complex channels and record videos to watch, I'm a simple hobbyist who likes quality tools and equipment. I think these fittings are worth their money and deserve an honest try. The…

They move air with precision.

Created from a mixture of universal and industrial connectors, they work much better. I thought my percussion gun's air valve had failed because it had no power, but after troubleshooting I found that the quick release was restricting airflow. I replaced all the compressor tools, hoses and fittings with these Type V fittings and everything works better. The impact is stronger than ever and even inflates the tires faster. Advantages: price. The kit includes male side connectors. draft. The…

Noticeable improvement in airflow

I don't know what some reviewers did to destroy theirs or bought third party fakes. I have had them for several years along with the green B fittings which have been in my shop for over a decade. I have at least 40 outlets throughout the store and haven't had any issues so far. I liked the improved V volume so much that I ordered more to replace the B ports. It makes a world of difference for the air hammer, punch, parting tools and blasting chamber, but I find it easier to have a style that…

Look cool and work great!

I do weight training and spend many, many hours in my shop. I hooked up these 1/4 air fittings to the Flexzilla air line - great setup. To be honest I wanted the air fittings to look "cooler" than regular brass. After reading previous reviews I was concerned that they were 'softer' aluminum and thought they might not stand up to use in my shop. I've had nothing but positive experiences with these nozzles. There are two questions to ask: 1. Are they leaking? 2. Do they withstand abuse? I have…

A real difference in tool performance

I've always used 3/8" male air hoses and 1/4" Type-C couplers. In a shop with a 240 volt industrial compressor and no pressure regulator, that's more than enough. But my 30-gallon, 120-volt home compressor can't boast the same power. I wondered how much the upgrade in plugs and connections could make up for the lack of supercharger capability, although I knew they should, at least on paper. I was also wondering about the durability as the plugs are aluminum. Finally I decided to give it a try…
