Yes, my cat ONLY goes outside with it!

So yes, I take my cat outside in this harness. He's an indoor cat and I think it's good for him to be outside a bit. When he was a little kitten I got this harness and a very light leash - he loved walking on the patio and in the yard. Now that he's older, when I get the seat belts out of the closet, he comes running because he knows he'll be spending time outside. The small size was perfect when he was a kitten and since he's not a big cat as an adult I was able to just extend the straps as he

It's suitable for long car rides, but I wouldn't recommend using it for long periods of time or every day.

I used to use harnesses with leashes for my cats when I took them outside for walks or for short trips to the vet. I used these harnesses on my cats during a two day trip in my open top Jeep Wrangler. A short leash allowed them to walk around a bit and the harnesses made it easy for me to pick them up and hold them when needed. Good, but not suitable for all situations.

I have trained a few cats to walk on a leash but have only recently used one. I am training a cat to live in another state so I wanted to find a harness that is TSA compliant. She hates being held, so I was afraid she might walk if the stretcher was x-rayed. Most cat harnesses have too much metal to pass through a metal detector, but this harness only has a tiny metal ring. The rest is fabric or plastic. Tested and approved by Peterbald!

I chose this harness from Revain's many offerings because the reviews didn't mention escape (and other product reviews did, hooray!). Our 9 month old Peterbald was dying to get out so I bought this trailer to give him a safe way to explore the great outdoors. We tried it this weekend.
