Great filter, removes everything from the water and doesn't require any noticeable additional suction. However, a replacement filter costs $30 and you need to replace it every 3 months. I'd say it's worth it if you have particularly bad tap water that you wouldn't otherwise drink. My main concern is that without the clear plastic cover, the lid has serious leakage issues. When I bought this filter I accidentally bought a 32oz water bottle filter instead of the 40oz. The only difference between them is the length of the straw. I didn't realize my mistake until the filter came.
