Vacuum Tank - Engine Parts

So far this vacuum tank is doing the job. I've been using it for about 4 months now and it seems to work great with my brake booster. The car stops when it should.

Nice addition for HE 268 Cam in Big Block Chevy

Works well with my 1971 Chevy pickup. I use a 402 BB with a .30 bore and a HE 268 cam. The vacuum is not quite sufficient for a red traffic light with brake booster (idling was switched off). One problem solved. Looks good and appears to be well built. I recommend this product.

Helped a lot with the brakes on my hot rod

I touched an old turbocharger, a Ford small block. I have a large cam and at idle it only creates 4-5 inches of vacuum instead of the usual 15-20 inches of vacuum, it makes the brake pedal very hard to depress and the truck doesn't feel secure under hard braking. A friend suggested adding a vacuum reservoir as I was thinking of upgrading to hydraulic brake boosters, but that's over $1,000 for parts. I could have added a vacuum pump but it cost $350.
