Solid and heavy tool with a good selection of parts!

ProsTool construction is solid and it has a nice heavy feel.Does exactly what it is supposed to do.ConsNone to report for nowWould advise!

  • I liked how you seemed to care and had a lot of things om the package overall
Cons
  • The ratcheting action of the crimping tool may be difficult to master for those who are not experienced with using this type of tool, resulting in poor quality crimps

Great product! Works as expected

Used this for assembling Arduino based microcontrollers. Worked perfectly. Could use instructions in the box but nothing a quick video search couldn’t overcome.

  • Worked great for assembling and undergrad EE project.
Cons
  • The large selection of connectors included in the kit may be overwhelming and confusing for beginners who are unfamiliar with the variety of options available

Very happy with this set

It takes a very small amount of practice/experimenting to get good at using this crimper, but once you do, you'll wonder why you didn't buy one sooner. It makes relatively quick, professional work out of what's normally a tedious task of splicing pigtails together.The crimper tool itself feels very well made, and the two kits it comes with are quite usable. I've already made a number of connectors with it.I highly recommend this.

  • The crimp tool leaves a bit to be desired. But, overall, a quality kit for the price.
Cons
  • The kit may be too specialized for those who only occasionally need to crimp D-USB and Dupont terminals, making it an unnecessary investment for infrequent use
