Industrial Quality - Controls and Indicators

Easy to install This device does what I need but was a bit overkill in my case. I only used 4 ports on the front on the front white part. Didn't need anything else. A simpler device option would be great and maybe a little cheaper. For but my application worked.

Pros
  • Dimensions (Approx): 85 x 45 x 92 mm / 3.4" x 1.7" x 3.6" (L x W x H)
Cons
  • Not Secure

Part of the water heater project

This is the relay I used for the water heater project first - see my other reviews. I found it a bit noisy under heavy loads (the water heater draws about 18 amps per foot at full load) and was difficult to install. I will replace it with another relay (40 amp instead) and I expect it to work better. I'm sure it will work for another project.

Pros
  • Includes 1 NC and 1 NO auxiliary contact
Cons
  • Some little things

Carefully! MUST BE MOUNTED HORIZONTALLY

I bought two of these to run my mill and lathe but when I tested them before plugging them into the control box I couldn't figure out why it was making that loud buzzing/knocking noise without actually keeping either contactor closed (i.e. on). must be installed so that it is in the correct orientation, i.e. horizontal as if mounted on a panel. It's pretty cheap to me, it tells me the coil isn't strong enough to overcome gravity for a 3 pole contactor, which isn't good. I would seriously…

Pros
  • Rated 32A, inductive or motor load
Cons
  • Not fancy
